6 weeks 6 Days to go!

Hello Bump, (sorry we know your name be you a boy or girl and we are not telling for a few more weeks yet.

Can i just say 6 weeks 6 days bump till your here wow where has the time gone! Can’t wait to finally see you, I have been rubbing your mums belly lots and you have been kicking me a lot!!

What’s been happening since last time, well me and your mum have been to 3 baby classes so I have a very rough idea of what to expect, still feeling a little nervous about handling you, but sure that will pass. Been getting lots of practice on your niece Eve she is about 2 weeks old at the moment.

Other exciting thing is your Room is decorated and ready for you the bed is in and i have moved around our bedroom as well so Ann will have you nice and close.

Your mum is now really be with you, but i think she is doing very well, 3 weeks and she finishes work at last! I have been really nervous for her and you with all the shifts and night work she has been doing, she has had a really bad itch which has caused a few sleepless nights but I think that’s good practice.

So let’s do a little about me and your mum as we are at the moment.

Me I currently work for an insurance company called Willis, I have been there nearly 2 years and I sell commercial insurance policies. It’s a fun job with some great people and a lot to learn. I am 31 just over 14 stone and a few grey hairs!

Hobbies I enjoy playing on the computer on a MMORPG called Aion at the moment and I play a table top war game called War machine and I have just started a new army called Menoth, (I am hoping to get your mum involved in painting them for me to help try and distract her when she is on maternity)

Your mum is currently very pregnant with you and has a huge belly; she works at Salford hospital as a nurse on the stroke unit. From everything she says she enjoys her job and the people she works, occasionally has a bad shift but I think that’s normal.

What’s coming up?

Tomorrow is our trip to the hospital for another baby class and hopefully a viewing of the maternity sweet where we are hoping you will be putting in an appearance.

I am attempting to learn a nursery song for you Swing Low sweet chariot once I find a decent version ( reason for choice is that it was the last song My Dad chose and I think it would be a nice way to have him in your life). You would defiantly off liked him and he would of spoilt you outrageously makes me smile just thinking about it.

It’s difficult though trying to find a version of it and Ann laughs at me a lot as I am not a music person and struggle with it.

Anyway, I can defiantly say I am now firmly in the exciting dad camp for you and think I’ll be a nervous wreck come July I have a count down for you at work and everything.

Anyway Love you see you Bump

Lots of Love Dad
